The dollar exchange rate in Ukrainian banks has almost reached 45 hryvnias
Exchange rates on 9 June
Ukrainian banks have updated their exchange rates for 9 June. The average selling rate for the dollar has risen by 21 kopecks and is now approaching the psychological threshold of 45 hryvnias.

According to cash market monitoring data, the average dollar exchange rate at banks stands at 44.30 UAH for buying and 44.90 UAH for selling. By way of comparison, on 8 June, the US dollar was selling for an average of 44.59 UAH.

The euro exchange rate remained high — 51.10 UAH for buying and 51.90 UAH for selling.

Among the largest banks, the dollar selling rate is set at the following levels:

  • PrivatBank — 44.85 UAH;
  • Oschadbank — 44.95 UAH;
  • Ukrsibbank — 44.90 UAH;
  • FUIB — 45.00 UAH;
  • Raiffeisen Bank — 44.99 UAH.

The selling rate for the dollar at 44.99 UAH was also set by Unex Bank and Credit Agricole, whilst at Tascombank the currency is sold at 44.98 UAH.

As for the euro, the highest selling rate among the largest banks was recorded at PUMB — 52.10 UAH. At Raiffeisen Bank and Ukrsibbank, the euro is being sold at 52.00 UAH.

Thus, the dollar continues to rise in value on the cash market and has come very close to the 45 hryvnia mark.
