An explosion was reported in the underpass at Zvirynetska metro station in the capital on 6 May. The information has been confirmed by the Kyiv police.

An explosion occurred in the underpass at Zvirynetska metro station in Kyiv on 6 May. The cause of the incident is currently being investigated.

Kyiv police have confirmed the explosion. Patrol officers have been dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances.

“Patrol officers have been sent to the scene to verify the information. There are no reported casualties at this stage. There is no fire. The exact cause of the explosion is being established,” the Kyiv police said.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion.
