In the Khmelnytskyi district, a man opened fire on law enforcement officers during a document check. As a result of the attack, one police officer was killed and another was injured.

A shooting took place in the village of Terlivka, in the Khmelnytskyi district, whilst officers were checking the documents of a driver whose licence had been revoked.

According to preliminary reports, the man opened fire on law enforcement officers. As a result of the attack, one police officer was killed and another was injured.

The attacker fled after the shooting. A special police operation and an interception plan have been launched in the area. Law enforcement officers are searching for the suspect. 

No further details regarding the attacker’s identity or whereabouts have been reported at this time.
