The SAP has announced that it is seeking a communications expert
The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) has announced that it is seeking a communications expert. The vacancy has been advertised as part of an international technical assistance project aimed at strengthening the capacity of anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine.

This is stated on the Facebook page.

Under the terms of the competition, the successful candidate will be offered a daily rate of up to 165 euros (depending on their level of qualification and proven experience).

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Developing and implementing a communications strategy to publicise the activities of the SAP.
  • Preparing media materials: writing press releases and press briefings, and drafting official comments and statements.
  • Social media management: maintaining the agency’s official social media pages and adapting complex legal content for a general audience.
  • Crisis communications: responding promptly to media enquiries, debunking fake news and managing high-profile cases.
  • Event organisation: preparing and conducting press conferences, briefings and meetings with media representatives.

Candidate requirements:

Work experience: 3–5 years in journalism, PR or strategic communications (experience in the legal or public sector would be an advantage).

Language skills: fluency in Ukrainian and English (at a level of at least B2/C1).

Skills: a thorough understanding of Ukraine’s anti-corruption framework, the ability to handle sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards.
