The incident was reported by Russian propaganda outlets, including the Telegram channel Fighterbomber. The author posted an image of a Mi-8 with a caption suggesting that the aircraft’s crew had been killed.

“The earth is the sky, warriors!” reads the brief caption beneath the photo. The incident likely took place in the skies above the temporarily occupied Crimea.
