Reserve+ application
The Ministry of Defence is testing a new feature in the Reserve+ app that enables remote registration for conscripts.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has begun testing a new feature in the Reserve+ app that allows users to register for military service online. The pilot project was launched on 16 January and currently covers men aged 18 to 24 who are not yet registered. To participate in the testing, users must register, wait for an invitation by email, install or update the app, and submit an application according to the instructions, after which they will receive confirmation and a Reserve ID document.

The Ministry of Defence emphasises that the innovation aims to reduce bureaucratic burdens and simplify the military registration procedure. At the same time, this feature is not yet available to women — they still need to apply in person to the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centres (TRSSC). It is also not possible to renew registration online for persons who have previously been removed or excluded.

In addition, the Reserve+ app already has a push notification system for fines, registration violations, deferrals or reservations, data updates, and the sending of summonses by post. The Ministry of Defence emphasises that these notifications are for informational purposes only and do not replace official documents.
