Colonel Andriy Krok has taken command of the 155th Mechanised Brigade following Luchanov’s arrest

The Battle Standard was presented to the new commander by Colonel Dmytro Drozdzenko, Deputy Commander of the 21st Army Corps for Psychological Support of Personnel.
The brigade described the ceremony as an important step towards restoring the identity of the ‘Knights of the Royal Lily’.
“I believe that together we will restore the good name of the 155th Separate Mechanised Brigade,” Krok told the troops.
The new commander expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and stated that it was a great honour for him to receive the Battle Flag. He said that, despite the trials and heavy fighting in the Pokrovsk sector, the brigade continues to defend Ukraine.
During the ceremony, service personnel were awarded state and departmental honours. They received the “For Exemplary Service” badge, as well as the “Cross of Valour”, “Defender of Ukraine” and “Army Cross” medals. The awards were presented by Dmytro Drozdzenko.
What is known about the Luchanov case
Andriy Krok has replaced Stanislav Luchanov in his post. The former brigade commander is suspected of organising the abduction and murder of brothers Maksym and Roman Moseychuk from the village of Kalynivka in the Kyiv region.
According to the investigation, the two men were abducted in the Kyiv region, after which they were taken to the Dnipropetrovsk region and killed. As part of the criminal proceedings, Luchanov and nine other military personnel were detained.
The investigation has classified the suspects’ actions under articles relating to unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping and intentional murder.
Luchanov denies the charges. During the court hearing, he stated that he had not seen the Moseychuk brothers, had not ordered their abduction or murder, and was prepared to cooperate with the investigation.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Only a court can determine the suspects’ guilt.
