Deputy Nagornyak: Trypillia TPP suffered 19 hits from "Shaheds"
This was reported by People's Deputy of Ukraine from the "Servant of the People" faction, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Serhiy Nagornyak, on the air of the TV channel "Kyiv 24".
"An example from just a week ago showed that at the TPP in Trypillia, a... fairly large number of 'Shahids' arrived. And these are not missiles, these are not ballistic. These are ordinary Iranian-Russian 'Shahids' with 19 hits," he said.
He also noted that Ukrainian energy specialists are preparing for various scenarios and "doing what can be done".
"Most importantly, we must understand that any protective structures, any preparations without sufficient air defense are worthless," he emphasized.
The deputy stated that despite everything, the Russians will not succeed in implementing their plan and plunging Ukrainian cities into darkness or freezing them: "By the end of 2025, we are even better prepared in energy than we were, despite the destruction, than we were ready for, say, in 2022-2023. Therefore, I do not believe there is a need to panic."
