On the night of 15 May, drones attacked Ryazan in Russia. According to monitoring channels, the Ryazan Oil Refinery, which is part of Rosneft, was hit.

On the night of 15 May, a group of drones attacked Ryazan in Russia. This has been reported by monitoring Telegram channels.

Local residents reported a large number of explosions in the city during the night, which damaged the Ryazan oil refinery.

The Ryazan Oil Refinery is part of Rosneft.

The facility is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia. Its capacity is approximately 17 million tonnes of oil per year.

The Ryazan Oil Refinery produces motor petrol, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil, liquefied gases, bitumen and petrochemical feedstock. The facility has previously been targeted by drone attacks on several occasions.

Pavel Malkov, Governor of the Ryazan Region, stated that three people were killed and a further 12 injured as a result of the attack on the city.

According to him, residential buildings and one of the enterprises in the city were damaged.

Earlier, Robert Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, confirmed a new strike on an oil facility in Perm, Russia.
