The General Staff reported 219 clashes on the front line over the past 24 hours, as well as losses suffered by the Russian armed forces
Today marks the 1,610th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 219 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.
Russian troops carried out two missile strikes using three missiles, conducted 92 air strikes and dropped 285 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,963 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,309 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 44 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ missile forces and artillery struck three drone command posts, three areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, two command posts and three other key Russian military targets.
Four combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian forces carried out three air strikes, dropped four aerial bombs and conducted 68 shelling attacks, four of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 12 times in the direction of Hoptivka, Lyman, Izbytske, Kozacha Lopana, Grafske and Artilne.
No offensive actions were recorded in the Kupiansk sector.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces made 15 attempts to breach Ukrainian defences in the areas of Zarichne, Novoselivka and in the direction of Shyikivka, Lyman, Stavky and Ozerny.
In the Sloviansk sector, the occupying forces carried out 27 assaults in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and in the direction of Piskunivka, Mykolaivka, Malynivka, Orikhovatka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops launched six attacks near Chasovyi Yar, Minkivka, Markove and in the direction of Izhevka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 26 attacks were recorded in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and in the direction of Dovha Balka, Vilne, Novopavlivka, Toretsk and Kuchero Yar.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 26 assaults in the areas of Udachne, Rodynske, Hryshyne and in the direction of Vasylivka, Novopavlivka, Bilytske, Svitle, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne and Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out one attack in the direction of Ternove.
In the Huliaipil sector, Russian forces launched 12 attacks in the direction of Vozdvizhivka, Huliaipil, Kosivtseve and Verkhnia Tersa.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attempts by the enemy to advance near Mali Shcherbakiv and Stepnogorsk.
In the Dnipro sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups were detected.
According to the General Staff, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,330 personnel over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed two tanks, four armoured fighting vehicles, 57 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, 11 ground-based robotic systems, 1,610 drones, 355 vehicles and nine pieces of specialised equipment.
