Iran has reported an attack on a nuclear power plant where Russians are working
The Iranians built the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in collaboration with Rosatom, and Russians are working there.
Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that a shell struck the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant on the evening of 17 March. There have been no reports of damage to the plant or of any staff being injured.

The IAEA posted this on social media.

The Iranians built the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in cooperation with Rosatom, and Russians work there. Rosatom states that this is the first strike on the plant since the start of the war — a shell hit the area near the meteorological service building at the plant.

Following the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East, the Russians reduced the number of staff at the plant’s second and third reactors (which are currently under construction) and evacuated 250 workers and their families. Around 480 Russians remain there at present.
