Issuance of 'mobilisation orders' has surged in Russia - The Moscow Times
This is reported by The Moscow Times.
According to the publication, military registration offices are summoning Russians “to verify their details”, and as a result, they have started receiving “mobilisation orders” more frequently. This information is corroborated by search queries on Google and Yandex.
In particular, from the end of March, Google began to record a surge in searches for the keywords “mobilisation order”, and by early April, the number of searches had peaked.
According to Google Trends, the following phrases were classified as “super popular” searches: “received a mobilisation order”, “how long is a mobilisation order valid for”, and “red mobilisation order”.
Meanwhile, Yandex Wordstat recorded Russian search queries regarding “mobilisation orders” as early as autumn 2025, followed by a nearly fourfold surge in such queries during winter and early spring. In January, the query stood at 10,000, rising to around 40,000 by April.
TMT explains that a mobilisation order is issued on the basis of a decision by the municipal conscription commission. It contains instructions on what a person must do in the event of mobilisation being declared, namely where and when to report, and what to bring with them. As a rule, the order is attached to or inserted into the military ID card.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that Putin wants to end the war by the end of 2026 by capturing Donbas, but the Russians are unable to advance.
