Israel announced a complete ceasefire with Iran
Israel agreed to Donald Trump's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire with Iran, but stated that it reserves the right to a "firm response" in case of any violation of the agreements by Tehran.

This is reported by Times of Israel.

As reported by the office of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the decision was made after a meeting of the head of government with the Minister of Defense, the leadership of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and Mossad. The meeting announced the completion of Operation "Eastern Lion" and the achievement of all its main objectives.

"Israel has eliminated a double immediate existential threat — both in the nuclear sphere and in the missile domain. The army has gained full control over Tehran's skies, inflicted serious damage on military command, and destroyed dozens of central facilities of the Iranian regime," — states the official statement.

Israel also expressed special thanks to the United States of America and personally to President Trump for military, political, and intelligence support.

"We thank the USA for their participation in defending Israel and in destroying the Iranian nuclear threat," — emphasized the Israeli government.

Despite the announcement of a ceasefire, Israel emphasizes that it will closely monitor Iran's actions, and in case of any violation — will give an immediate and decisive response.

On the eve, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the achievement of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran and "the end of the 12-day war," which is set to take effect in the coming hours.

In response to Trump's statements, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran would not conduct military actions if Israel ceases its strikes. At the same time, Iran allegedly received no proposals for a ceasefire.

And today, in the morning, Trump announced that the ceasefire between Iran and Israel has come into effect.
