The data covers the period from October 2025 to mid-January 2025 and demonstrates the continuous nature of energy terrorism.

DTEK has released detailed statistics on Russia's attacks on the Ukrainian power grid during the first half of the heating season.

  • 10 October 2022 — Russia launched its first massive missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

  • 10 October 2025 — Russia effectively launched a new season of massive attacks on Ukraine's energy sector.

October 2025

Throughout the month, energy facilities were attacked:

  • daily precision strikes by kamikaze drones, KABs and other munitions were recorded;

  • on certain days, there were massive combined attacks using various types of weapons.

November 2025

  • Not a single day passed without attacks on energy facilities.

  • Throughout the month, both targeted attacks and large-scale combined strikes continued.

  • Not a single day passed without damage or threats to the energy system.

December 2025

  • Six massive attacks on energy infrastructure were recorded.

  • The rest of the days were accompanied by regular targeted strikes with drones and various types of ammunition.

January 2025 (first half)

  • In just half a month, there were six massive attacks on the energy sector.

  • Precision strikes took place almost daily, posing a constant threat to the stability of the power system.

These statistics clearly demonstrate that

  • Not a single day without damage or attacks on the energy system during the first half of the heating season.

  • Russia systematically combines precision strikes with drones and KABs with massive combined shelling.

  • The aim of the attacks is to exhaust Ukraine's energy sector and put pressure on the civilian population during the cold season.

Russia is facing mounting pressure due to the situation on the front line, economic problems and strikes by Ukrainian drones on its territory. European officials suggest that Moscow’s increasingly aggressive rhetoric may be linked to attempts to restart the negotiation process on its own terms.
