On 21 and 22 July, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems unit struck a further 13 vessels belonging to the Russian shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. There are also reports of further strikes on energy infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories

Robert ‘Madyar’ Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported that on 21 and 22 July, the Ukrainian military struck a further 13 vessels belonging to the Russian shadow fleet in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

According to him, the vessels struck included one tanker, ten dry cargo ships and two tugs.

As Brovdi noted, since 6 July, as part of Operation ‘MoLoChKa’, the Unmanned Systems Forces have already struck 196 vessels belonging to the shadow fleet. Of these, 126 were in the Sea of Azov and 70 in the Black Sea.

Separately, the commander reported on the results of Operation ‘Crimean Switch Off’. According to his information, on 21 and 22 July, 13 power hubs and electrical substations in the temporarily occupied Crimea were struck, as well as two further energy facilities in other temporarily occupied territories.

In total, since 1 July, according to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, 117 energy targets have been struck as part of Operation ‘Crimean Circuit Breaker Off’. He also noted that supporting evidence would be made public at a later date.
