The number of casualties resulting from the Russian strike on Kyiv has increased to 25
As a result of the strike on Kyiv carried out by Russian troops on August 28, 25 people were killed, including four children, reported President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Rescuers have completed clearing the debris in a partially destroyed five-story building in the Darnytskyi district, where search and rescue operations lasted over 30 hours.

Currently, specialists are dismantling the emergency structures of the building.

"An absolutely vile blow that demonstrates Putin's true intentions — to continue killing rather than take steps towards peace," — stated the president.

In the early hours of Thursday, Russian troops carried out a new combined attack on Ukraine using 629 air attack means — Kalibr, Iskander, X-101 missiles, and Shahed drones.
