The little one revealed details of the "Spider Web" operation behind Russian lines
SBU drones targeted four Russian military airfields simultaneously - "Belyaya", "Dyagilevo", "Olyenya", and "Ivanovo". It is noted that thanks to the plan, the greatest number of enemy aircraft was hit at once.
"In total, this involves striking 34% of Russia's strategic missile carriers at their main basing airfields. It was not just a devastating blow to enemy aviation, but a serious slap to the power and terrorist nature of the Russian Federation," - emphasized Vasyl Maliuk.
The approximate value of the enemy's damaged strategic aviation exceeds over $7 billion USD.
According to Vasyl Maliuk, the "Spiderweb" special operation took place simultaneously in three time zones and was highly complex from a logistical standpoint.
It is noted that initially, the SBU transported FPV drones to Russia, and later - mobile wooden houses. On Russian territory, the drones were hidden under the roofs of the houses, placed on trucks. At the right moment, the house roofs were remotely opened, and the drones flew to strike designated targets - Russian bombers.
"According to the laws and customs of war, we targeted absolutely lawful targets - military airfields and aircraft that bomb our peaceful cities. So, from our side, there is a real demilitarization of Russia, as we are destroying military targets specifically. And our strikes will continue for as long as Russia terrorizes Ukrainians with missiles and Shaheds," - Vasyl Maliuk explained.
He thanked all the security service employees involved in this historic special operation, emphasizing that all its participants have long been in Ukraine.
"The enemy thought they could bomb Ukraine and kill Ukrainians with impunity and endlessly. But this is not the case. We will respond to Russian terror and destroy the enemy everywhere - at sea, in the air, and on land. And if necessary - we will reach from underground," - emphasized the head of the SBU.
