Petrov had been in the army since April 2025, spending his final months with the 43rd Separate Mechanised Brigade.

This was reported by his wife, Kateryna Yablinska.

According to her, Artur Petrov was killed on 18 March 2026 in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi whilst evacuating the wounded.

“Please remember him as a funny man,” wrote Kateryna.

Artur Petrov took part in the shows “Make the Comedian Laugh”, “Goodnight Club” and “Comedian for a Million”, and performed in “Underground Stand-up”.

He also worked as a scriptwriter for the TV project “I’m Ashamed of My Body”.
