54 undeclared MacBook laptops were discovered at the border with Poland
At the ‘Smilnytsia–Kroscenko’ border crossing, customs officers discovered a consignment of undeclared equipment. Fifty-four laptops were found in the luggage compartment of a minibus.
On 26 March, a Renault Master minibus arrived at the ‘Smilnytsia–Kroscenko’ border crossing point.
At the wheel was a 49-year-old resident of Lviv Oblast, who had chosen the ‘green corridor’ lane for simplified customs control.
During a customs inspection, 54 undeclared MacBook Neo 13 laptops were found in the vehicle’s luggage compartment.
The exact value of the seized goods will be determined following a commodity appraisal.
A report on the violation of customs regulations has been drawn up in accordance with Part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
