The General Staff has updated the figures on the Russian Armed Forces’ losses over the past 24 hours
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on Russian military casualties as of 23 July 2026.
According to the General Staff, from 24 February 2022 to 23 July 2026, the total combat losses among Russian troops amounted to approximately 1,434,690 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost 1,460 soldiers.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have also destroyed 12,191 tanks – 28 more than the previous day – 24,994 armoured combat vehicles, 12 of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours, as well as 46,570 artillery systems, which is 78 more.
Russian forces have also lost 1,961 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,515 air defence systems, 438 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 1,994 ground-based robotic systems and 423,588 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military destroyed three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, 13 ground-based robotic systems and 1,688 drones.
In addition, the Russian Armed Forces lost 4,936 cruise missiles, 34 ships or boats, two submarines, 124,243 vehicles and tankers, and 4,453 units of specialised equipment. Over the past 24 hours, three cruise missiles, 541 vehicles and tankers, and three units of specialised equipment were destroyed.
The General Staff noted that the data is still being verified.
