MP Serhiy Labazuk was injured in a road traffic accident that occurred on the evening of 27 April in Khmelnytskyi. He has been hospitalised.

A road traffic accident occurred on 27 April at around 8.45 pm at the junction of Kamianetska and Ternopilska Streets in Khmelnytskyi. A BMW driven by a 20-year-old local resident collided with a Land Rover driven by a 40-year-old man from Khmelnytskyi.

A 45-year-old passenger in the Land Rover was injured in the crash. He was taken to hospital. A 17-year-old passenger in the BMW was also injured and taken to hospital.

Serhiy Labazyuk reported that he was sitting in the rear passenger seat and suffered fractures and bruises. According to him, the car was travelling within the speed limit when the BMW driver veered into the oncoming lane and caused a head-on collision.

Investigators from the Khmelnytskyi District Police Department have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of road safety rules resulting in bodily harm to victims) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
