During the night of December 3, Russian forces once again struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, causing new power outages across several regions. The incident was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy, according to ThePublic.info.
According to the Ministry of Energy, as of the morning, more than 17,500 consumers in Kharkiv region remain without electricity, along with around 5,000 customers in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as some consumers in Kherson region.
The ministry noted that in Odesa region, all customers who were disconnected during the night attack have already been reconnected to the grid.
During the strike, an energy sector employee was injured and taken to a hospital. Emergency repair crews continue to work around the clock to restore power supplies.
Throughout December 3, all regions of Ukraine will operate under scheduled hourly power outages, as well as capacity restrictions for industrial and commercial consumers.

The Ministry of Energy urged Ukrainians to use electricity responsibly, especially during morning and evening peak hours, in order to reduce pressure on the national energy system.
