The level of trust in the president increased at the end of the year and has a positive balance

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is trusted by 61% of Ukrainian citizens as of the end of November and beginning of December 2025. A total of 32% of respondents expressed distrust. These data were released by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology based on the results of a telephone survey.

Sociologists note that the balance of trust and distrust is plus 29%. At the same time, the indicators have increased significantly in recent weeks. While at the end of November, 49% of respondents trusted Zelenskyy, between 1 and 13 December, this figure rose to 63%, and on some days it reached 65%.

The survey was conducted from 26 November to 13 December by telephone interviews. The survey involved 547 respondents aged 18 and over in the territories controlled by the government of Ukraine. The sample did not include residents of the temporarily occupied regions and citizens who moved abroad after 24 February 2022.

The formal statistical error does not exceed 5.6% for indicators close to 50%. The KIIS reported that they plan to additionally interview about 500 more respondents to clarify the results.
