Over the past 24 hours, Russia has lost a further 1,440 troops and one air defence system

The Russian army’s casualties in the war against Ukraine continue to rise. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a further 1,440 Russian soldiers have been killed over the past 24 hours.

Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 up to 2 June 2026 amount to approximately 1,366,910 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,440 soldiers.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 11,969 tanks, which is three more than the previous day.

The number of armoured combat vehicles destroyed has risen to 24,666, artillery systems to 43,112, and multiple launch rocket systems to 1,821.

Russian forces have lost 1,400 air defence systems. One such system was destroyed over the past 24 hours.

Russia has also lost 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,542 ground-based robotic systems and 323,762 tactical-level drones. Over the past 24 hours alone, 1,583 drones were destroyed.

The number of cruise missiles destroyed stands at 4,693. Naval losses remain at 33 ships and boats and two submarines.

In addition, the Ukrainian military has destroyed 102,138 vehicles and tankers, as well as 4,241 units of specialist equipment.

The General Staff noted that the figures are still being finalised.
