F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine

F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine
The decree has been published on the president's website. Ustimenko died in the night of June 29 during the repulsion of a massive attack by the Russian Federation.

"Maksym Ustymenko has been fighting since the ATO days, he has mastered four types of aircraft, and he has truly achieved significant results for Ukraine. It is painful to lose such people," - Zelensky noted, calling Ustymenko "one of our best pilots". 

The command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Maksym Ustymenko, during a combat sortie on Sunday night, used the entire onboard weapon system and shot down seven aerial targets.
