The Government of Ukraine announced the start of a comprehensive audit of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" and its subsidiaries. According to Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, this has become part of a systematic reboot of the defense and energy management sectors of the state.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko announced the launch of an audit of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" and all its subsidiaries. The decision was made at a government meeting following agreements reached during a meeting with the President. This was reported by ThePublic.info, citing an official statement from the Prime Minister on Telegram.

Sviridenko clarified that the audit will also cover the Defense Procurement Agency and the State Tertiary Operator. The results of the inspection will be regularly published.

«We have begun the process of updating the supervisory boards of JSC "UOP", its subsidiaries, AОЗ, and DОТ. We continue the systematic reboot of management in the energy sector and are starting in the defense sector», — stated the Prime Minister.

The government also addressed the Accounting Chamber with a request to verify the activities of ARMA and the State Property Fund for the previous period.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky initiated an urgent audit of these institutions, and the State Audit Service has already begun checking the activities of NAEK "Energoatom" — including three nuclear power plants. This followed the exposure of a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector.

According to government officials, the main goal of the inspections is to strengthen control over state assets and increase transparency in the defense sector's operations.
