Russian forces continue round-the-clock assaults on Pokrovsk, concentrating their efforts mainly on the southern districts of the city. Despite constant pressure, Ukrainian defenders are actively destroying enemy units and inflicting significant losses.

Russian occupation forces continue intense attacks on Pokrovsk, focusing mainly on the southern part of the city. However, small enemy assault groups are detected across the entire urban area, indicating attempts to infiltrate from different directions. The situation is reported by ThePublic.info, citing a statement from the spokesperson of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhii Okishev, made during a national TV broadcast.

According to him, Ukrainian units are actively working to eliminate Russian assault groups. The enemy tries to gain a foothold inside the city, but these small groups are promptly detected and neutralized. Okishev noted that Ukrainian search-and-strike teams are able to quickly locate the enemy and destroy them directly on the spot. Aerial reconnaissance is also operating continuously, detecting enemy movements in real time.

He stated that the Russians are assaulting Ukrainian positions around the clock, but these attacks result in heavy losses — at least dozens of occupiers are eliminated every day.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, also confirmed that over the past week, Ukrainian forces have been actively destroying enemy troops in Pokrovsk. According to him, more than one-third of the city has already been fully cleared of Russian units.

The 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces further reported that the defense of Pokrovsk continues despite difficult conditions. Numerous ambushes are being set up in the “grey zone,” along with raid and search operations. While the enemy is trying to advance deeper into the city, Ukrainian forces are successfully holding them back.

Due to significant losses in manpower, the Russian command has been forced to deploy reserve units for the assault on Pokrovsk. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not only maintained a strong defense but have also established protective corridors toward Myrnohrad — which are used to deliver vital supplies to defenders and evacuate the wounded.
