On the night of October 4, Russia carried out another air strike against Ukraine.

Since 18:00 on October 3, the enemy launched 109 strike UAVs of the "Shahed", "Herbore" types, and others, as well as three ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 from the territories of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Rostov, and Voronezh regions of Russia.

"The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and the air defense forces of Ukraine," - reported by the Defense Forces.

As of 09:00, Ukrainian troops have shot down or suppressed 73 enemy drones in the north and east of the country. At the same time, three missiles and 36 strike UAVs hit 21 locations. Fragments of downed aircraft also fell in four other areas.

The Russian army again attacked the energy system in Chernihiv region during the night. Several important electrical supply facilities were damaged. This is reported by "Chernihivoblenergo". Currently, about 50,000 consumers are affected by emergency outages. Energy workers have already begun re-energizing. At the same time, a schedule of hourly power outages continues to be in effect in the region.
