The Russian Federation launched 322 drones and missiles overnight. The main target of the strike is Kyiv.
According to the Air Forces, the enemy used:
- 315 attack drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF);
- 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region;
- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk region.
According to military sources, the attack lasted from 20:00 on June 9 and involved massive use of "Shaheds," which the enemy attempted to use up Ukrainian air defenses.
As of 9:00 a.m. on June 10, 284 targets had been neutralized:
- 213 "Shaheds" destroyed by firepower;
- another 64 suppressed or lost locationally due to electronic warfare (EW);
- all 2 KN-23 ballistic missiles and 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles destroyed.
Air attack means hit 11 locations, and debris from downed targets fell in 16 different points.
As a result of the nighttime shelling on June 10, Kyiv, as well as Kyiv and Odesa regions, were most affected. Civil infrastructure was under attack.
In the capital, drone or debris falls were recorded in at least seven districts of the city. Several residents were injured in the explosions — some hospitalized, others received aid on site. Fires also broke out in a business center and residential buildings.
Additionally, in Odesa, Russian drones damaged a maternity hospital, a medical clinic, and vehicles. Two men died in the city due to hits, and nine people were injured.
