Russia attacks Odesa region ports with drones, damages tanks and civilian vessel

On the morning of 30 December, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Odesa region. Port and industrial infrastructure, oil tanks, and a civilian ship carrying grain were damaged, and one person was injured.

On the morning of 30 December, Russian troops again massively attacked Odesa region with attack drones. Despite the active work of air defence, damage to industrial and port infrastructure in Odesa district was recorded. 

According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration Oleg Kiper, the strikes on the industrial enterprise damaged empty oil storage tanks. One person was injured in the attack, his condition is being checked

In addition, a civilian vessel that was in the port was damaged. There were no fires, and no information on casualties

According to the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba, the consequences of the attack were recorded in the ports of Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk. A civilian vessel carrying grain under the Panamanian flag, which was in the port's waters, was damaged

According to Kuleba, the attack was targeted and aimed at disrupting logistics and complicating shipping. Despite the shelling, the seaports of Odesa region continue to operate in compliance with security requirements.

Emergency and special services are working at the sites of the attacks. Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of Russia's latest war crimes against the civilian infrastructure of the region
