Russia launched 309 UAVs and 8 missiles at Ukraine during the night
On the night of July 31, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 309 drones and 8 missiles. Air defense forces neutralized 291 air targets.

This was reported by the press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Overall, the enemy attacked:

  • 309 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and drone-imitators of various types from directions: Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
  • 8 Kalibr missiles of the Iskander-K type from the Kursk region.

The main strike direction was Kyiv city. The air attack was repelled by aviation, air defense missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Air defense forces shot down/suppressed 291 enemy air attack means:

«Recorded direct hits of 5 missiles (one of them in a residential building in Kyiv) and 21 strike UAVs in 12 locations, as well as the fall of wreckage (debris) in 19 locations, almost all in the capital,» – add the Air Forces.

On the night of July 31, Russian troops once again struck Kyiv with missiles and drones. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and city infrastructure were destroyed. There are reports of 6 dead and at least 52 injured.

Additionally, occupying Russian forces attacked Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region on Wednesday, July 30. Two people were injured as a result of the strike.
