Russians attacked a correctional colony in Zaporizhzhia

It is known that as a result of the strike, the institution's dining hall was completely destroyed, significant damage was inflicted on the administrative headquarters and the quarantine section. As a result of the strike, 17 detainees were killed, and 42 others were injured.
"The severely injured have been hospitalized to MOH system hospitals. About 40 more individuals received injuries of varying severity, one staff member received minor wounds (shrapnel injury to the face)," - reported the Ministry of Justice.
All those affected have received medical assistance, they are under supervision in the medical unit, the duty unit, and other departments of the facility. The perimeter of the institution was not damaged, there is no threat of escape.
"This strike once again demonstrates gross violations of international humanitarian law by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Shelling of civilian infrastructure objects, including penitentiary institutions, is considered a war crime," - stated the ministry.
Updated at 12:40: The Ministry of Justice revised the data regarding the victims, clarifying that 16 detainees were killed, 44 individuals were injured and hospitalized in local hospitals, and more than 50 victims received medical aid on site.
