Russian troops dropped an air bomb on Yaroova in Donetsk region: dozens of people were killed
At this moment, civilians were receiving pensions near the mobile "Ukrposhta" point. The strike hit directly on peaceful people.
The first to report the Russian attack on Yarova was President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"A frankly brutal Russian airstrike with a bomb on the village of Yarova in Donetsk. Directly on people. Ordinary civilians. At the moment when pensions were being issued," he wrote.
The President noted that such strikes by Russia must definitely not go unpunished by the world.
"The Russians continue to destroy lives but avoid new severe sanctions, new strong strikes. The world must not remain silent. The world must not remain inactive. The United States' response is needed. Europe's response is needed. The G20's response is needed. Strong actions are necessary so that Russia stops bringing death," he added.
As of 13:00, it was known that 21 people had died, and about two dozen more were injured.
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has already initiated pre-trial investigation into the fact of a war crime (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
