Russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine
On the night of June 17, the Russian army carried out a massive combined strike, using missiles of various types and drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa.

Almost the entire night, the Russians shelled Kyiv. The alarm signal sounded as early as 9 PM. The enemy used missiles of various types and attacked with drones over the capital.

There was an impact on an entrance of a residential building in the Solomianskyi district. A part of the building was completely destroyed. A search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site. Kyiv City Military Administration head Timur Tkachенко reported damage to a kindergarten in Darnytskyi district and an industrial area in Dniprovskyi district.

Additionally, in Sviatoshynskyi district, a residential building was damaged as a result of the attack. Rescuers are working at the sites of the hits. As a result of the Russian attack, dormitories of Kyiv Aviation Institute were also damaged. In Darnytskyi district, after the Russian attack, fires are being extinguished with helicopters. The city is experiencing high levels of air pollution, so residents are advised not to open windows.

At dawn, the enemy launched a massive attack on Odesa with strike drones. Air defense forces responded to the drones, but the city has significant destruction and casualties.

“Despite the active work of our air defense fighters, there are destructions, fires, and damage to civilian infrastructure in the city, including residential buildings, an inclusive center, a preschool, garages, and more,” – reported Oleg Kiper, head of the Regional Military Administration.

The enemy also launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia. Fires broke out at several enterprises, and there is destruction. It is noted that the Russians carried out at least four strikes on the city.

“Due to the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia, a multi-story building and a dormitory were damaged. Windows were blown out in over 50 apartments by the shockwave. Nearly 30 garages in the garage cooperative were also damaged,” – reports the Regional Military Administration.
