On the night of today, long-range drones of the SSU Alpha Special Operations Centre successfully struck at Russian air defence elements at the Belbek military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea

According to the special service, several key pieces of enemy equipment were hit as a result of precise hits. In particular, two long-range radar detection systems «Nebo-SVU» were destroyed, the cost of which is estimated at $60-100 million per unit.

The 92N6 radar station, which is part of the S-400 Triumph air defence system, was also attacked. Its estimated value is about $30 million for the domestic market and up to $60 million for export.

In addition, the Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile system worth up to $19 million was hit, as well as a MiG-31 fighter jet with a full complement of weapons. Depending on the configuration and armament, the cost of such an aircraft is estimated at $30-50 million.

The SSU emphasises that the systematic destruction of Russian air defence elements in Crimea weakens the protection of key military and logistics facilities of the occupiers and reduces their combat capabilities in the southern direction.
