On the night of June 22, the United States Air Force struck three nuclear facilities in Iran. Donald Trump called this attack a historic moment.

Regarding the attack on Iran, Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social, and later repeated it in his address to the nation.

«We have completed our successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now outside Iran's airspace. The full complement of bombs has been dropped on the primary target, Fordow. All aircraft are safely returning home. I congratulate our great American warriors. There is no other army in the world that could do this», – wrote Trump.

The U.S. president called the bombing a «historic moment for the USA, Israel, and peace», and according to him, Iran “must now agree to end this war”.

He added that Iran's main nuclear facility – Fordow – no longer exists. According to Trump, the nighttime strikes aimed to completely destroy Iran's uranium enrichment program and put an end to the nuclear threat from the “world's number one state sponsor of terrorism”.

«Iran, the hooligan of the Middle East, must now make peace. If it does not, future attacks will be much larger», – stated the U.S. president.

Iran's Fordow nuclear facility is the most fortified site of Iran's nuclear program. It is located deep beneath a rock, and only bunker-buster bombs weighing 13 tons, dropped from B-2 bombers, could reach it.
