The causes and circumstances of the pilot's death are being clarified.

During a combat mission on a Su-27 aircraft in the Zaporizhzhia direction, pilot Major Boryvik Oleksandr of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade was killed. This is stated in the message of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade.

"With sadness, we inform you that on September 11, 2025, around 13:30, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, during a combat mission on a Su-27 aircraft, our comrade - pilot of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade Major Boryvik Oleksandr Mykolayovych, born April 19, 1995, - was killed," the message states.
