The official is suspected of using forged documents to organize private trips abroad under the guise of business trips.
The Kyiv District Court of Holosiivskyi has chosen a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest and has suspended the head of the apparatus of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (KCSA) from his position, according to ThePublic.info citing Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office. The duration of the preventive measure and suspension from the position is until 28.11.2025.
The official is suspected of using forged documents to organize private trips abroad under the guise of business trips. This concerns a trip to Barcelona in 2023 and a trip to Florence in 2024.
His actions are qualified under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely:
 
Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery of an official document issued by an enterprise, which grants rights, with the intent to use it by the forger or another person, committed by prior conspiracy of a group of persons; repeated forgery of a document);
 
Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (use of knowingly forged document);
 
Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberately providing false information in official documents by a public official).
 
It is known that the apparatus of the Kyiv City State Administration is headed by Dmytro Zahumenniy. His lawyer Yuriy Radzievskiy reported on the preventive measure and stated that the defense is already preparing a series of motions regarding the clarification of the suspicion handed over and its modification.
