Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost 1,160 troops in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed dozens of artillery systems, armoured vehicles and more than 1,500 drones.

Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 28 May 2026, amount to approximately 1,360,110 personnel. Of these, 1,160 soldiers were killed in the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, Russia has also lost:

  • tanks — 11,956, of which 1 in the past 24 hours
  • armoured fighting vehicles — 24,625, including 7 in the past 24 hours
  • artillery systems — 42,832, of which 42 in the past 24 hours
  • multiple launch rocket systems — 1,806, including 1 in the last 24 hours
  • air defence systems — 1,397
  • aircraft — 436
  • helicopters — 353
  • ground-based robotic systems — 1,492, including 7 in the last 24 hours
  • operational-tactical UAVs — 314,902, of which 1,560 per day
  • cruise missiles — 4,687
  • ships and boats — 33
  • submarines — 2
  • Vehicles and tankers — 99,906, including 261 in the last 24 hours
  • specialised equipment — 4,227, including 3 in the last 24 hours.

The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated.
