The General Staff has reported that the Russian army has suffered over 1,100 casualties in the past 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,140 troops in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed dozens of pieces of military equipment and over 2,000 tactical-level drones.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses among Russian troops from 24 February 2022 to 19 May 2026 have reached approximately 1,351,150 personnel.

Over the past 24 hours, the General Staff noted, a further 1,140 Russian soldiers have been eliminated.

Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 11,940 tanks, including one over the past 24 hours, 24,584 armoured fighting vehicles and 42,340 artillery systems. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 78 artillery systems and one armoured fighting vehicle.

In addition, Ukrainian defence forces destroyed 1,792 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,386 air defence systems, 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters.

The General Staff also reported the destruction of 1,426 ground-based robotic systems, 11 of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours, as well as 299,199 tactical-level drones. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 2,142 drones.

Furthermore, Russian losses amount to 4,632 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 97,600 vehicles and tankers, as well as 4,202 units of specialist equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military destroyed 262 vehicles and tankers and two units of specialised equipment belonging to the Russian army.
