Over the past 24 hours, there have been 235 combat engagements on the front line. Russian troops carried out missile and air strikes, whilst the Defence Forces struck areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, drone control centres and other enemy military targets.

The 1,608th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 235 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using 39 missiles and carried out 76 air strikes, dropping 222 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 10,761 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,116 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 33 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck nine areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, five drone control centres, one artillery piece, two logistics depots and another key military facility.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out three air strikes, dropped eight aerial bombs and conducted 56 artillery attacks, one of which involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 14 attacks in the direction of Hoptivka and near Lyman, Starytsia and Prylipka.

In the Kupiansk sector, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 26 attacks in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Drobyshove, Novoselivka, Hrekivka and in the direction of Shyikivka, Stavky, Lyman and Ozerny.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy made 27 attempts to breach Ukrainian defences in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and in the direction of Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces launched two attacks near Nikiforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 24 attacks were recorded in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka and in the direction of Pavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 enemy assaults in the areas of Toretsk, Shakove, Udachne, Filiya, Hryshyne and in the direction of Kucherove Yar, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Bilytske, Svitle, Novopavlivka, Shevchenko and Novopidhorodne.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, there were no enemy offensive operations.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 21 attacks near Zaliznychne and in the direction of Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka and Hirkyi.

On the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attempt by Russian units to advance in the Shcherbakiv area.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations. Furthermore, in the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian troops forming offensive groups were detected.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army’s losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 1,600 servicemen. The Ukrainian military also destroyed two tanks, eight armoured fighting vehicles, 82 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, six air defence systems, nine ground-based robotic systems, 18 missiles, 1,769 drones, 605 vehicles and three pieces of the enemy’s specialised equipment.
