Over the past 24 hours, 242 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian forces deployed over 8,000 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 2,700 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

The 1,545th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 242 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops carried out 112 air strikes and dropped 316 guided bombs. The Russian army also deployed 8,065 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,716 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 104 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The settlements of Vilna Sloboda and Ulanove in the Sumy region were subjected to air strikes.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck seven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and one drone control centre.

Situation on the fronts

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, Russian troops carried out five assault operations. The enemy launched seven air strikes using 14 guided bombs and conducted 95 shelling attacks.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, 13 attacks were recorded in the areas of Vovchanskiy Khutory, Prilipka, Dvorichansky, Staritsa and Veterinarny, as well as in the direction of Izbytsky, Zybino, Ternova, Okhrimivka and Kolodyazny.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched two attacks towards Petropavlivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted eight times to break through Ukrainian defences in the direction of Lyman, Yampil, Drobysheve and Zarichne.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces repelled three attacks near Rai-Oleksandrivka, Zakitne and Mykolaivka.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 22 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, Shakove and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 32 assaults in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Sukhetske, Ivanivka and Novyi Shakove.

There was no fighting in the Oleksandrivka sector.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 24 attacks near Zlagoda, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Olenokostiantynivka and in the direction of Novozaporizhzhia, Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two attempted advances near Bilohirya and Stepnogorsk.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy launched three attacks towards Antonivka.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups have been detected.
