The Russian Federation’s military losses have exceeded 1.38 million troops

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,370 servicemen in the war against Ukraine. The Defence Forces have also destroyed dozens of pieces of military equipment and four air defence systems.

As of 18 June 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine had reached approximately 1,388,050 personnel. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Federation’s army suffered losses of 1,370 servicemen over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed five tanks, four armoured fighting vehicles, 71 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems and four air defence systems.

The Russian army’s total losses amount to 12,038 tanks, 24,779 armoured fighting vehicles, 44,240 artillery systems, 1,877 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,431 air defence systems.

In addition, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,684 ground-based robotic systems, 357,589 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles and 4,783 cruise missiles.

Losses of motor vehicles and tankers have risen to 108,425 units, and those of specialised equipment to 4,306 units. Thirty-three ships and boats, as well as two submarines, have also been destroyed.

The General Staff noted that the figures regarding enemy losses are being refined.
