The weather in Kyiv on 13 July 2026 is set to change: a spell of warmer weather will be followed by rain
The new working week in the capital will begin with variable cloud cover and pleasant temperatures. In the morning, temperatures in Kyiv are expected to be around +17°...+19°, and the air will gradually warm up by lunchtime.
It will be warmest in the afternoon. Between around 14:00 and 16:00, temperatures in Kyiv may rise to +23°...+24°. However, there will be few sunny spells, and the sky will remain mostly cloudy.
When to expect rain in Kyiv
After the daytime warming, the weather will begin to change. Showers are forecast for Kyiv in the afternoon, and brief showers are possible in the evening.
According to the hourly forecast, precipitation is most likely after 17:00. A thunderstorm is also possible in the capital towards the late evening. Therefore, Kyiv residents are advised to take an umbrella with them, even if the weather seems calm in the morning.
The wind will be westerly and north-westerly, 5–10 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will remain low — around 744 mm of mercury.
What will the weather be like in Ukraine?
Unstable weather on 13 July is expected not only in Kyiv. According to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre, as reported by ‘Ukrainska Pravda’, rain and, in places, thunderstorms are forecast for most of Ukraine on Monday, with temperatures reaching up to +28°.
In the west, north and parts of the central regions, the day will be damp and moderately warm. In the south and east, warmer weather will persist in places, but without sustained heat.
What Kyiv residents should bear in mind
Due to the rain and possible thunderstorms in the evening, getting around Kyiv may be more difficult. It is advisable to allow extra time for journeys and to avoid standing under trees, near advertising hoardings and power lines during a thunderstorm.
For those sensitive to weather changes, the day may feel rather uncomfortable due to low atmospheric pressure, cloud cover and changing weather conditions throughout the day.
