Trump proposes sending an American private army to Ukraine

According to the publication, Donald Trump is negotiating with European allies to allow American private military companies (PMCs) to assist in building fortifications to protect U.S. interests in Ukraine.
This plan is allegedly being developed as a workaround after Trump promised that regular American troops would not be deployed in Ukraine.
PMCs may be deployed to assist in rebuilding defensive structures on the front line, new bases, and protecting American businesses, reports The Telegraph. Moreover, the presence of a private army would serve as a deterrent to prevent Putin from violating the ceasefire.
This idea is reportedly being discussed along with a number of other security guarantees developed by a coalition of willing countries led by the United Kingdom and France, which will form the basis of a long-term peace plan.
