Trump will provide Ukraine with a military aid package
It concerns the allocation of aid under the Presidential Drawdown Authority program, which allows the president to make decisions without Congressional approval. Ukraine has so far received aid approved during the administration of Joe Biden.
Sources of the agency assert that the cost of the new military aid package could be around 300 million dollars, and it will include, among other things, missiles for Patriot air defense systems and medium-range missiles. At the same time, according to them, a final decision on what will be included has not yet been made.
Trump previously confirmed that the White House is considering providing Ukraine with a Patriot air defense system. Prior to this, Axios reported that the U.S. president promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to immediately send Kyiv 10 missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
