Three suspects have been arrested in the Czech Republic in connection with the arson attack on an LPP Holding warehouse
The Czech police have reported the arrest of three suspects in connection with the arson attack on an LPP Holding warehouse, which took place on 20 March in Pardubice, approximately 120 kilometres east of Prague. The fire broke out in a warehouse building within the complex; there were no casualties.
According to law enforcement officials, one suspect was arrested in Slovakia in cooperation with Slovak colleagues and the local public prosecutor’s office, whilst the other two were arrested in the Czech Republic. They are Czech and US nationals.
The detainees have been charged with terrorism. The prosecution applied to the court to remand two of them in custody, and the court granted this application.
The case has been referred to the National Centre for Combating Terrorism, Extremism and Cybercrime. The Prague Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that the suspects’ actions are provisionally classified as a terrorist act. The suspects will remain in custody until their trial.
The police reported that work is ongoing to identify and apprehend other possible participants, including in cooperation with foreign partners.
Earlier, the pro-Palestinian group The Earthquake Faction claimed responsibility for the arson attack. It stated that it had attacked a production facility in Pardubice linked to the manufacture of Israeli weapons. LPP Holding stated that the company did not manufacture Israeli drones.
LPP Holding, in particular, manufactures unmanned systems for Ukraine. In December 2025, the company unveiled the Narwhal cruise missile with a range of over 600 kilometres, which was planned to be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company had planned to conduct tests of the missile in January and February.
LPP Holding also reported that the Czech police are investigating a possible link between the arson attack and Russia. The police noted that various theories are being examined as part of the investigation.
