In Kyiv, the Okhmatdit building, damaged as a result of a Russian strike, has begun to be restored.
The department noted that Riola-Module LTD won the tender for the renovation of the building among construction companies, offering the most economically advantageous proposal — nearly 293 million UAH, while the estimated cost of the renovation was 367.4 million UAH. This will save over 70 million UAH. The ministry added that Riola-Module LTD was the company that completed the construction of the modern Ochapdyt building in 2020.
The Ministry of Health also announced the signing of a contract worth approximately 2 million UAH with the engineering company Akadem Bud, which won the tender for technical supervision.
The restoration and technical supervision works will be financed by the Ochapdyt — Healthy Childhood charitable foundation, the department added. They noted that the restoration will include, among other things, building structures, roofing, facade, windows and doors; interior finishing and engineering networks; medical gas systems, fire alarm systems, video communication, and lighting; landscaping and road surface improvements.

In March, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko stated that the restoration of the damaged NDSL Ochapdyt due to a missile strike could begin in May or early June. He also previously reported that restoration work on the main building of the Ochapdyt children's hospital is expected to start in spring 2025.
