The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a man in the Donetsk region who is suspected of collaborating with the FSB. According to the investigation, he was passing on information to facilitate attacks on Kramatorsk.

The Counterintelligence Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine has detained another FSB agent in the Donetsk region who was coordinating air strikes on Kramatorsk.

According to the case file, the suspect was tracking the locations of Ukrainian Defence Forces personnel and equipment. The enemy planned to use the data obtained to launch strikes with various types of weaponry, including FAB 1500 aerial bombs with winged modules.

He was also to pass on the coordinates of logistics depots containing weapons, ammunition and supplies belonging to the Ukrainian military.

The investigation established that the suspect is a local unemployed man who was recruited in October 2025 via Telegram channels advertising job opportunities.

To gather information, he walked around the area, recorded the locations of military facilities and marked them on maps, saving the relevant images on his smartphone. In addition, he attempted to obtain information during conversations with acquaintances.

SBU officers documented his activities and detained him. During searches, his mobile phone containing the evidence was seized.

The detainee has been notified of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by SSU officers in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
