On the night of 20 April, a drone attack on an oil refinery was reported in Tuapse, Russia. A major fire broke out at the site.

On the night of Sunday 19 April, drones attacked an oil refinery in Tuapse, in the Krasnodar Krai region of the Russian Federation. This has been reported by monitoring Telegram channels.

Videos and photos of a massive fire in the area of the oil refinery and port have appeared on social media. According to reports, two storage tanks caught fire at the facility.

The glow from the fire is visible from a considerable distance. This is the second attack on the facility this week. The previous strike was recorded on the night of 16 April, when a fire was reported at an oil depot near the port.

It was previously reported that on the night of 2 November, an attack was carried out on one of Russia’s key oil ports on the Black Sea. At the time, at least one vessel was reported to have been damaged, and the fire at the port raged for several days.
